Vasilina is 93!

Visual artist Lucia Nimcova and musician David Petras recently started a foundation nohami.com. We have been helping the people we work with in the Carpathians, last three years in Ukraine, Slovakia and Romania. We are developing new ways to do ethnographic research sustainably and beneficially for both sides.

In the photo attached, you can see celebration of the 93rd birthday of our friend and great singer Vasilina, last week. We brought her warm clothes and food supplies, baked a cake and sang songs. And since the holidays are approaching, we have brought some handwoven sheep wool products for you to buy and enjoy. For example, super comfy socks and rugs. They will keep you warm until spring.
